Reviews Summary

Kozanro Chukagaishinkan is celebrated for its authentic Chinese cuisine, particularly the signature Seafood Champon with its flavorful broth and thick noodles. Diners also rave about the melt-in-your-mouth Dongpo pork. However, some find the prices, especially on holidays, to be on the higher side, and service can be minimal due to the restaurant's popularity and busy nature.

"Champon - Japanese style, Chinese version of Japanese ramen. All hot soup noodles hit the spot in winter and definitely worth a try if you’re in Nagasaki!"

Alexander Fong

"This is another ridiculous long line for either a bowl of noodle or a plate of fried noodle covered with cabbage and assorted seafood and meat. Service is almost none. 东坡肉or台湾刈包is also popular. Tried to dine at 2pm lunch shorter line before kitchen closed. For ordinary noodle dish, I consider it’s expensive."

Yun

"I heard this is the best Champon restaurant in Nagasaki, so I went there for lunch. There was a queue of a dozen on the ground floor. According to some websites the price ranges from 1000 - 1500 yen. As this was my last meal in Nagasaki, I thought that much was justified. My turn came and I was guided to go upstairs. There was a large dining area, which can hold 100 people. A waitress broght the menu, which was different to the one I saw online. There was the only one option for soup champon and its price was 2750 yen. This price almost doubles the regular one. Yes, it's on a public holiday, but this is a rip-off. Go to another reasonable restaurant. Not worth 2750 yen."

Another great place to try the famous bowl of champon is Kozanro. It is similar to ramen, except that the noodles are boiled in the soup instead of separately. The ingredients used to make it are usually fried pork and seafood.
