"Central location for a Nagoya Breakfast. U choose a coffee then u get a free toast (2 option of toast), and free souces, and butter or jam. Please refer to 2 sets we choose in photos. Great combination of offer and taste, black coffee match perfectly with butter toast. U have many other options, diffrent western dishes or combos. Please see the menu enlcuded in the photo. Today we spent 1,060 yens for 2 people. Very reasonale for a light breakfast, enough energy for morning trip."

"At first I was hesitant since the reviews only go as high as 3.5 in google maps; however, these shouldn’t stop anyone from immersing in an authentic Japanese morning coffee experience. Locals gazing to the newspaper intensely and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee is whiffing in the air. These elements, carefree and unique memories worth remembering someday."

"Popped by for breakfast. When you order a drink, you get some bread/toast for free. You can pick from a limited number of toppings such as hard boiled egg, scrambled egg or red bean paste.
Drinks include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, other drinks etc.
I ordered a hot red bean milk which was REALLy sweet but still nice. Went well with my red bean paste toast.
My partner ordered a red bean past hot tea which was less sweet due to the tea component"

The only breakfast worth trying in Nagoya, Ogura Toast is the ideal treat to start the day with a coffee. Taking a thick slice of Japanese toast topped with butter and red bean paste called Ogura, it’s not too heavy and can be served with a boiled egg for a protein boost or whipped cream for the sweet side. While this is served in many cafes and hotels, it is available at the classic coffee joint Komeda’s Coffee.
Have a Good Morning! Nagoya’s Breakfast Institution
Nagoya’s answer to Starbucks, Komeda Coffee, branched out around Japan and, in doing so, introduced ‘morning’ to the nation. Komeda comes to mind when Nagoyans think of ‘morning,’ and here, you can choose from three sets, either a boiled egg, egg salad, or ogura . Each option comes with a half slice of thick, fluffy toast oozing with butter and so thick that my grandmother would have called it a doorstep slice’.
