What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aguncha is lauded for its exceptionally fresh seafood and melt-in-your-mouth Rafute (pork belly), offering great value for money. Diners consistently praise the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, with some appreciating the English-speaking support. While most experiences are highly positive, a few reviewers noted that service could feel cool towards foreigners and found some dishes, like the pork, to be tough.
"Visited this place 3 times whilst in Naha. The staff are very friendly and one of them speaks excellent English which is very helpful. The food was some of the best I have eaten in Japan, especially the Rafute, it just melts in your mouth. The cocktails are also really tasty. They have English menu so you know what you need to order. Great late night spot."

"I came here solo for dinner on a local recommendation but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The service felt a bit cold toward foreigners and I may have chosen the wrong dishes. I ordered an Orion beer, chanpuru and the Okinawan pork. The chanpuru portion was massive, so a heads-up when I ordered the pork would’ve been helpful as I couldn’t finish it which felt wasteful. The pork was quite tough and the chanpuru wasn’t the best I’ve had."
