"I had a glass of wine, half serve of roast beef, margherita and tiramisu, but the main reason I wanted to visit was for the pizza.
The pizza quality was superb. It's up there with the best in Tokyo and I think it would be considered very good even in Italy. It must be the best in Okinawa, I'm guessing. The pizza size is also definitely a bit smaller than what would be considered a full size pizza in Italy, though.
One downside of Bacar are that it's difficult to get into. I tried walking in on a few separate days before making a reservation and even then there was some limited availability. I think they perhaps don't accept walk-in customers by policy, as I think pizza dough rather than seats might be the limiting factor. Another downside is that it's a bit expensive, but prices are inclusive of tax, so the total eventually wasn't as high as I had expected.
The tiramisu was very interesting. It's quite far from a traditional tiramisu, but I think it was very clever. I did miss the savoiardi biscuits a bit, but besides that I think it was great."

"Being Italian, I can definitely state that the vibes here are those of a typical Italian trattoria. The owner, making pizzas, as well as the staff is busy yet welcoming and smiling: this creates a nice atmosphere.
We were four and shared appetisers, pizzas and pastas: everything is made with attention to details and I appreciate the personal/local twist of the chef on traditional Italian dishes.
Besides pizzas and pastas which I feel are the signature of the place, I recommend to taste the trippa as it’s amazing.
Wine selection is good and variegate.
For sure, it won’t be cheap but you can feel all the ingredients are high qualitative and fresh, so we can say that the price pays for that!"
