Gyozaoh! Dotonbori is celebrated for its extensive gyoza offerings, including highly praised vegetarian options, and its delicious, crispy fried chicken. The restaurant provides quick service and friendly, English-speaking staff, making it a welcoming spot for tourists. While generally affordable and highly recommended, some diners note that the hype might lead to long waits, and opinions on crispiness can vary.
"We saw the reviews and knew we had to try this place. The food was amazing, fast service, affordable and a must try Gyoza restaurant (fried and boiled). The beef and rice was delicious (slight kick to it) and the fried chicken is to die for!! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and go!! We got there just before the line got big, consistent line out the door the whole time we had dinner."

"Had a great casual dinner here! Gyoza are super crispy and tasty. Also highly recommend the fried potatoes and the sesame cucumber. Seating is largely along the bar with some additional tables. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is great and comes at fair prices. Also offer a variety of plumb wines and highball with home made apple juice (which is quite sweet though). Definitely recommend it for a dinner that is a bit off from the main stretch of Dotombori"
Maximilian
"Great spot in busy Dotonbori area for gyoza and Japanese fried chicken. Coming here again after one year, the dumplings were less crispy than last time but the chicken pieces were bigger. Very generous portion sizes so order sparingly! You can always order seconds later. Drinks are a bit pricey probably to make up for the super affordable food menu. Would recommend trying at least once."
