Reviews Summary
Afuri Shinjuku Lumine is praised for its unique, light, and refreshing yuzu-infused ramen broths and excellent vegan options. Diners appreciate the clean, modern atmosphere and efficient service. While the food is generally highly regarded, some find the ramen to be on the saltier side, and the pork belly could be more flavorful.
"The food tasted pretty good, and we were lucky — no queue when we arrived!
Yuzu Ratan Ramen: Tasty, but not spicy at all.
Yuzu Shio Ramen: Loved the refreshing yuzu broth!
Pork Niku Gohan: The pork belly was really delicious."

"Decent ramen tucked into a small department store in the shinjuku station. You order at the machine and then find a place to sit. I had the yuzu shoyu ramen and it was ok. The noodles are cooked well and the soup is decently good. The pork belly is fine but not particularly flavourful. It’s good for a quick meal when you are on the go. The yuzu beer is also quite interesting. The place is well kept and clean, service is quick and people are friendly enough."

"🌱vegan friendly/ foreigner friendly
Food was banging- light broth, lots of veggies, smoky spice paste. There are also a range of condiments to add to your ramen is you wish to.
Service was amazing. First, orders are made through a ordering machine which has an English setting for foreigners. Then you enter the ramen bar, you are seated and staff take your meal ticket. You are given a disposable bib so ur clothes stay clean and the service is impeccable.
The atmosphere is an open bar concept with nice dim, evening lighting for that night time feel.
The price is a bit steep, but it's worth it for this experience."
