"We had a good experience. Would've been nice if they had tasting flights. But the beer was good and the view as well. We came on a Wednesday around 16:00 and didn't have to wait.
No seats at the window available, but as soon as someone left we took their spot. Seems to be the standard approach here.

"Went here for the view. You’ll know you’re at the right place when you see the “Asahi golden poop,” which refers to the large golden flame-shaped sculpture, officially called the Asahi Flame.
The place has a small seating capacity, but when we went on a Thursday night, there wasn’t really a wait to be seated. We didn’t try the food and just ordered a mug of beer.
It was worth it for the nice view of Tokyo Skytree and the city. The night lights made the experience really lovely.
It’s definitely a spot to consider if you’re around the Asakusa area."
