What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ginza Ukai-Tei offers an exceptional fine-dining teppanyaki experience with outstanding food quality and impeccable service, set in a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. While many praise the perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, and the theatrical presentation by skilled chefs, a few have noted an unusual incident of being overcharged and unhelpful customer service post-visit.
"Impressive lunch course and services. It was a great experience here. Definitely coming back to this place every time I visit Tokyo from now on.
The head chef was super friendly, as well as other staffs in the restaurant. Every dishes tastes amazing.
The lunch course costs ~13,000 yen (+4,400 yen if you change to tenderloin). This is more than enough to make someone who eats a lot to become full. (and of course, memorable)"

"One of the best Teppanyaki place we ever visited! My dad came back here 3 times! Nearly every visit of Tokyo 🥰
The service was top notched, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was very luxurious and unique. We love the decorations and interior design. The chef was very skilled, we enjoyed every bit of the course. They also accommodated us very well since 2 of our parties do not eat beef so they prepared a very refined seafood centric course for us.
They also offered to call us a taxi at the end of the meal. We were very happy although we didn’t take up the offer and decided to walk back to our hotel which was in Ginza anyway.
Overall a most excellent experience! Highly recommended!"

"If you're in Tokyo, Ginza Ukai-Tei is an absolute must-visit! The setting is beautiful, with a modern yet elegant ambiance that perfectly complements its prime location. The food is simply outstanding—especially the steak and lobster, which are cooked to perfection. The assortment of desserts is a delightful way to end your meal, with each one bursting with flavor. If you're visiting during lunch, I highly recommend trying their set menu—it offers incredible value and a great variety of dishes. Our group had an amazing time, and the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in town"
