Diners rave about the incredibly tender and flavorful Wagyu beef, often describing it as melting in the mouth. The cozy, self-serve BBQ atmosphere is highlighted as a great spot for groups and couples. While the food is generally praised, some reviews mention inconsistent service and a lack of English-speaking staff, making reservations potentially tricky.
"Very good food、sake, and really nice service, my favorite restaurant in Yuzawa!"

"Great place for dinner in Yuzawa. It’s the place with the the sign you can see in my photos. Hard to make reservation- we thought we had one but arrived to find that no one speaks English (which is fine) so I’m not sure how you make a reservation. Anyway we went and had a beer then went back and we got in. No English speaking staff but you can make do. Food was great - it is do it yourself BBQ."

"After a long a full day of snowboarding session, a well deserved yakiniku meal is much needed!! We went to this place randomly and didn’t expect much at all. The restaurant is situated very close from the Echigoyuzawa train station which is very convenient. When we sat down, we saw some sliced cut beef pictures on the wall so we decided to order that and one of those beef loin cube cuts. In addition, we got some sake, pork loin and this really uniquely delicious rice with hot soup in it. After when we put in the sliced beef for a few seconds into the charcoal yakiniku, (we like it sort of raw) we tried it without any sauce and man!!! It was so damn delicious!!! The sliced beef was so tender and soft… the flavor of the beef just bursted in our mouth and it literally melted in our mouth and I chewed only a few times and swallowed it… it was that soft and tender!!! After that we put in those beef cube and also didn’t have any expectations as they were thicker. We thought it was going to be chewy but… it turned out to be so tender that… we order another plate! Lol. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out as the beef here is excellent! Pork is pretty good too, it was soft and tender but to be honest we are beef eaters so the pork was just a side dish thing. Cabbage was interesting, it has this nice sweet taste to it which balances out with the beef. Lastly, we ended it off with sake which completes the entire meal on a night that was snowing hard."
