Reviews Summary

Kulata Academy Cafe is praised for its positive social impact and offers a good variety of affordable cafe fare, including tasty pies and sandwiches. While many appreciate the friendly atmosphere and value, some reviews mention limited availability of menu items during peak times and occasional inconsistencies with coffee quality. The cafe's role as a training ground for Indigenous Australians is a significant draw for visitors seeking to support a valuable community initiative.

"Absolutely loved the coffee at Kulata Academy! Smooth, rich flavor and brewed to perfection. Even better knowing it’s part of a social enterprise training future hospitality stars. Great vibe, friendly service, and a real sense of purpose behind every cup. Highly recommend!"

Flip Mattia

"A good cafe to eat at at the resort, still expensive but is a little tastier than the others. Half of the cabinet options were sold out at midday and were not being re-stocked so we just had to buy what was there. Pie was $11.50, wrap was $12 etc for the pricing. Still not amazing food so loses stars"

Sam Brun

"Nice Cafe with good sandwiches and desserts. Their haloumi & tomato / pumpkin sandwiches + chocolate crunch cake are all amazing. Try them, you won't be disappointed 🤩 Staff is efficient and lovely. I enjoyed the nice ambiance, relax atmosphere with good old songs (ABBA, Simon & Garfunkel...)! Very good value for money in the park!"

The Ultimate Guide to Uluru, Australia

We had a light lunch at Kulata Academy which is an Indigenous training cafe. I loved the premise of this cafe, and the spinach and cheese roll was quite tasty, but the salad was lack lustre. We also had a meal at Gecko’s Cafe, I had the ribs which were overly sweet and fatty and I left most of it behind.
