"An upscale elegant restaurant with white table cloths and formally attired waiters, but it still manages to be welcoming thanks to the personable, friendly waiters.
There is a large variety of pasta, pizza, meat, fish and vegetarian options and a variety of wines ranging from 50 bob to over 500 and maybe more. Wines appear to.be well stored and are served in proper stemware.
I had the spinach Fettucine Imperiale with prosciutto, peas and mushrooms in a cream sauce. It was a generous portion of very tasty pasta but could have used a little more of the first two ingredients. Peas, however, were fresh, which is a bonus.
The Campos Malbec was decent if not exciting and fairly priced. The espresso was really just a cup of coffee, but I expected that really.
As I mentioned before, the staff were great: friendly, jocular, efficient and attentive."

"This is one of the best restaurants in Cochabamba, La Cantonata is an Italian style restaurant, elegant but not cozy at all. A real Italian experience is found more on a trattoria style environment. La Cantonata is a great italian like fine cuisine, very stylished and garnished presentation. Spectacular customer experience. Delicious, well, you can never go wrong with pasta.
Like in any other venue in town. Never a wheelchair access. Sad, but that is the culture and the reality. Everything starts with caring, and that is poor management vision."
