Reviews Summary
Manda de Laos is lauded for its breathtaking ambiance, set around a serene lily pond, and its exceptional, attentive service that makes guests feel celebrated. While the modern take on traditional Lao cuisine is generally praised for its authentic flavors and beautiful presentation, some found specific main dishes lacked a certain 'wow' factor compared to appetizers and salads.
"Good food, charming ambiance, and excellent service.
The food here is tasty and well-prepared, offering a satisfying dining experience. What really makes this place special is the ambiance—a lovely little garden with a serene lake right in the heart of the city. It creates a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing while you enjoy your meal. The service is excellent as well; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make sure you feel welcome throughout your visit. A great spot to escape the city buzz without leaving town!"

"The atmosphere was great and the service very attentive — we felt truly welcomed. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We ordered the buffalo steak and the burger, and we really enjoyed both. The garden overlooking the lake is absolutely lovely, with lots of beautiful lotus flowers. I’d love to come back during the daytime as well."

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On the first day, we had lunch at the restaurant and were very impressed with the atmosphere and attentive service. The staff introduced each dish in detail and with great enthusiasm. Because of that, we decided to return for dinner on our last night. The evening setting was wonderful, but it’s best to reserve in advance for a nice table as it gets busy with both hotel guests and outside visitors.
The food was delicious with authentic Lao flavors. Prices are reasonable for the quality, with main dishes ranging from 200,000 – 350,000 KIP.
Definitely worth experiencing!"
