Reviews Summary

Two Little Birds Cafe is praised for its delicious and healthy vegetarian and vegan options, particularly its smoothie bowls and fresh dishes. Diners love the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. However, some reviewers noted that service can occasionally be slow, and portion sizes may be on the smaller side.

"We visited Two Little Birds on three occasions during our stay in Luang Prabang. On all 3 occasions we left feeling satisfied with our meal and service. Authentic design with pleasant staff keen to make you smile. All the food is excellent (Slightly on the smaller portion side, however). Would recommend.

Favourites include the special Avo on toast with added egg. Tropical smoothie bowl and brunch bowl! 🍜🍲"

"Visited this cafe twice and had a great experience both times. The smoothie bowls are the best I've had and I love that the full menu is vegetarian. I'm not veggie, but used this cafe as an opportunity to get more nutrients in while travelling. Highly recommend - quality food and service! ♥️"

Robyn

"This place is okay, we just wanted a couple of smoothie bowls and had been recommended to come here. The service wasn’t great for us, felt like we’d been forgotten about - the owner apologised as he thought we’d already ordered. Then I had to ask again for the water we ordered (not the end of the world!)

The smoothie bowls were very nice and pretty filling which is what we needed, also presented nicely."

24 of The Best Cafés + Coffee Shops in Luang Prabang, Laos

A local family opened this beautiful vegan café in September 2019, and I feel so lucky that it survived the pandemic so that I could enjoy its insanely delicious menu in 2022. The food is made fresh to order and contains vegan-friendly goods including smoothie bowls, vegetable curries, and traditional Lao coffee (there’s no espresso machine). As a family-owned and operated establishment, the staff here are incredibly friendly.

The first place we identified as veg/vegan was Two Little Birds, right around the corner from our apartment. The small cafe is run by a warm, friendly family and has a good selection of fresh, healthy and very tasty food. We tried the Pad Lao and the Stir Fry Tofu and Veggies.
