Reviews Summary

"Very nice restaurant. Stays true to the Latvian traditional food and drinks. Highly recommended I'd you like to try traditional food.
We have been here twice and all is solid and genuine!
The cod in rhubarb wine is great. Also the barley "risotto" and the stews. Don't miss out on the fried rye bread with garlic :-)"

"Lunch at AKA Latvian Cuisine in Riga’s Old Town
cozy vibes, friendly service, and some great tunes in the background. Tried the Stroganoff (€14) which looked lovely and came out in just over 10 mins. Portion was a bit small and the stew lacked flavour, but the mashed potatoes and tender beef made up for it. Simple dish, wished for more sides—but still a charming spot to relax and taste a bit of Latvia!"

"It was kinda OK. The food was "safe" but perhaps not too exciting.
A small restaurant in a cute part of town, the restaurant was smallish and service slow but pleasant. This was my first visit to Latvia and the only meal I ate there. Can't say I was blown away by it, but it wasn't bad either.
Prices were OK by European standards but I have no reference in Riga. I expect it was probably a bit expensive because of the location."
