"I've had flavorful, wok hay koey teow at other places but this is another level. We finished the whole thing before we realized that we didn't take photos of the CKT. It was that good! We tried both the CKT with duck eggs and the one with the chicken. Both were tasty, but the duck one is slightly saltier and I prefer the chicken.
Of course we also had to try the laksa since they were first known for this signature. The broth was delicious and we were glad that we added the fish pieces, they certainly added to the flavor.
The least interesting to me was the omelette. We ordered the prawn and oyster one each, but the staff had mistakenly given us both oysters. Perhaps because I'm not much of an oyster fan, I didn't care much for this dish.
They had quite a system, you place an order before they'll direct you to your seats but I wished they had a separate queue for takeaway. We had to queue together with those dining in, and had to wait for the people in front of us who were dining in to get seated first before we could place our order.
However, the system was pretty smooth, but the wait was quite long considering we queued up since 9.30am, just half an hour after they opened for the day. Total waiting time was nearly an hour but to be fair, we did order quite a bit.
Having said that, I've now turned into their fan, and would definitely queue again for the CKT! Nyumm"

"After searching for a great place to eat in Penang, a friend highly recommended this restaurant. I'm so glad we came here; the experience was fantastic. We ordered a few of the local favorites, and each dish was perfect. The Laksa had a great balance of flavors, the Char Kuey Tiaw had an incredible 'wok hei' taste, and the Oyster Omelette was a delightful surprise. Every dish was authentic and delicious. I will absolutely be returning on my next trip to Penang!"

"Love the asam laksa here! But cant say for the fried oyster ( having said that, to each their own). Come try you may like it.
Fried oyster was too soft for my liking but edible.
