"Old run down little shop. A bit chaotic and hot inside even with all the fans.
Depending on if you order drinks, chendul or hot food you have different barkers that will individually collect money once they bring your item to the table. It can be a bit confusing and chaotic as you order from 1 person and then pay as different items come out at different times.
The service is quick though. Chendul is really good and their curry mee is also pretty flavourful and tasty.
Parking can be a bit hard due to the tiny street. Nearby for 6myr, or street parking if you find it.

"Went on a Sunday afternoon and there's no queue needed. It's a good to have local desserts during a hot sunny day. I do like the coconut milk and gula Melaka taste but I felt it used to be better last time.

"Listen, I don't know what half the stuff in this bowl is, but it works. Went there melting like a crayon on the dashboard, and this green noodle soup thing saved my life.
Look, it's called "FAMOUS" - and you know what? For once, something that calls itself famous actually deserves it. Unlike half the places on Yelp where every taco truck thinks it's God's gift to humanity.
The green things (rice noodles? Who cares?) are chewy in a good way, not like eating rubber bands. The coconut milk doesn't taste like sunscreen, which is a miracle. And those little red beans? Perfect. Sweet but not "diabetes in a bowl" sweet like everything else these days.
Best part? It costs NOTHING. Back home, some pretentious hipster would charge you $20 for this and explain the "journey" of each ingredient while you slowly die of heat stroke. Here? A few bucks and boom - you're human again.
The textures are all crazy - shouldn't work but absolutely does. It's like someone having a laugh: "Here, eat this green spaghetti with beans in ice soup." And you think they're messing with you, but then you try it and realize you've been missing out your whole life.
Perfect for when you're sweating like a contestant on a game show and need something to cool you down without being boring vanilla ice cream.
