"I had my dinner at Bubur Nasi Istimewa No. 1 in Larkin as I wasn’t feeling well, so we decided to go for porridge. The service was excellent, with many waiters and waitresses ready to serve. While I was still in the middle of ordering, our two sets of porridge were already served — since no cooking was required — yet they were still hot, which was great.
We also ordered kuey teow goreng kerang and chicken & beef satay. The total bill was less than RM60, which was reasonable.
The only area that could be improved is cleanliness. Upon entering, we noticed a few cockroaches near the drainage. The sink was leaking, and the toilet was not very pleasant. With some improvements in cleanliness, this place would be even better."
