Fatt Kee Seafood Restaurant is one of the most established restaurants in Kota Kinabalu and it is famous for its sup ikan or fish soup. There are a handful of outlets here in Kota Kinabalu and I actually visited the one located on Level 3 of Suria Sabah Shopping Mall (just across from Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu) which has the worst rating out of all its outlets, so maybe this is not really a fair representation of what the restaurant has to offer. There are two main types of soup bases - tom yum and tomato - and I tried both during my visit.

Next, you can either find Fatt Kee at Hilltop, Luyang, or if you don’t feel like going all the way to Luyang, you could find one inside the shopping mall in Suria Sabah. They serve one of the best fish soup in town; have it either in tomato soup, or if you like it spicy, then opt for the Tom Yam soup!. The best thing is, you can even choose what goes in your soup (fish maw, fish lip, fish ball, fish roe, and many more!) If you don’t like your noodles soaked in the soup, you can order their soy sauce wantan noodles to go with it.

They have several types of fish noodles here with a few type of soup base to choose from like tomyam, original taste or with milk!.

This fish noodle restaurant in Kota Kinabalu is known for its savory tomato-based and tom yum soups. The fish is fresh and the portions are generous. However, the dry version of the noodles could use some improvement.
