"Walked in to the restaurant and immediately there’s table available, no wait time at all! Love the food, the service and the atmosphere. Food was served pretty fast even though the business was quite busy and even ordered steak during the visit. One of the best western food in town! They also have Pasties now too! 10/10

"Had a fun dinner with 15 of us at Happy Place Kolombong, gathering to celebrate three birthdays in one go. The place was perfect for a big group — spacious seating, good lighting, and a chill, casual vibe that made everyone feel comfortable (it’s a lil bit chilly 😂)

We ordered a variety of dishes ; burgers, fish & chips, chicken chops, lamb chops, and a lot more not shown on the pics. The burgers were juicy with fluffy buns and fresh toppings, definitely satisfying for the burger lovers among us. The fish & chips came with crispy golden batter and tender fish inside — it was a hit with the kids and adults alike. Portions were generous across the board, making it great for sharing.

Service was friendly and attentive despite our large group. Food took a bit of time to arrive (expected with 15 pax), but everything came out hot and fresh, and the staff checked in often to make sure we were okay. They even helped us organize the birthday cakes and candles without any fuss, which made the celebration feel smooth and special.

Overall, Happy Place Kolombong lived up to its name and recommendations — it was a cozy spot for gatherings, the food was tasty and portioned well, and the staff were accommodating. Would definitely consider coming back for future celebrations or group dinners. Will definitely come back for the steak."

"Always crowded with people, but parking is free and the guard will assist you to an available spot. I’ve been here twice, both times with an appointment. The menu leans more towards Western cuisine, and yes, it’s on the pricier side. Ambience is great, fully air-conditioned and cosy. The only downside is that it can get noisy due to the crowd.

Service is tip-top. The waiter even helps pour your drinks, and cutleries are provided separately, giving off a fine dining vibe. The only difference is they use serviettes instead of napkins.

The first time I tried their fish and chips, I instantly fell in love, even though I’m not usually a fan of fish dishes. The fish tasted premium, crispy on the outside and melts in your mouth. Their seasoned fries are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve also tried the spaghetti and grilled chicken, which were both nice, but my ultimate favourite is definitely the fish and chips. No competition! Surely will come again… already missing it. 🥲"
