Two other restaurants just next door are operated by the same owners as Junk: Bla Bla Bla and The Living Room. Bla Bla Bla (27 Tabuan Rd.; tel. 082/233-944; Wed-Mon 6-11pm; main dishes RM12-RM45; AE, MC, V) serves excellent Chinese fusion food, with some Thai and local dishes on the menu as well. In between Junk and Bla Bla Bla, The Living Room (23 Tabuan Rd.; tel. 082/426-608; Wed-Mon 6-11pm; AE, MC, V) is a groovy place for drinks either indoors or in an al fresco garden that's dripping with romantic ambience.

If you’re feeling a bit high-end, drop by the aptly named Bla Bla Bla Restaurant because talking and eating seems to go hand-in-hand, no?. Be prepared to go there with an army of four or more because the portions are pretty huge for two to take down. The homey old shophouse atmosphere adds to the wholesomeness of the meals served – my wife went for the highly recommended mango duck while I propped it up with a huge serving of cangkok manis which are sweet leaves topped with chicken floss.

Located at Jalan Tabuan, Bla Bla Bla serves excellent Chinese-inspired fusion dishes which are perfect for sharing as the portion is quite big. Filled with both flora and fauna and properly enhanced by lights in the correct places, Bla Bla Bla really sets the mood right for all that enter the doorways. From a koi pond that forms a pathway of water decorated with stepping stones to a huge Balinese Buddha head, Bla Bla Bla is the perfect spot for date nights.

Blablabla is Chinese restaurant with semi vintage outlook and has been one of the to restaurant in Kuching for dinner and functions. It is a good safe place to bring guests and host parties, and the waiters are flamboyant and happy to serve. Food wise i recommend the mango duck which was marinated torn duck meat with a slice of mango and crispy duck skin.

Though the name may raise some eyebrows, Bla Bla Bla is actually a plush Chinese restaurant that’s decorated like a Balinese spa centre. One of their signature dishes, Pandan Chicken, won our bellies. Also noodle dishes were great. Interior is just as fresh and full of flavors as the dishes: walk upon an enormous koi pond to reach your table.

Bla Bla Bla is interestingly named but well known for great Chinese food, especially the soft shell crab, whilst the Li Garden also has an excellent Chinese menu.
