Reviews Summary
Chong Choon Cafe is a beloved local institution famous for its authentic Sarawak Laksa and classic breakfast fare. While many praise the rich broth of the laksa and the vibrant, communal atmosphere, some reviewers find the laksa overrated or the coffee underwhelming. It's a popular spot, so expect a crowd, but the experience of sharing tables with locals is a unique draw.
"Got recommendation to try sarawak laksa here.
It is indeed delicious. The broth is yummy and just nice. Wish they put the ‘jeruk limo’ on the empty spoon instead to the chilly sauce.
We also order chicken kolo mee. Not bad…
And claypot porride, which is not too bad… can feel the rice. Not smooth creamy type. the claypot porride has some minced meat, salted egg and centry egg. We need to mix the flavor by ourselves."

"Ordered $8 laksa, diluted gravy. Kolo mee $5 no ingredient. Toast too sweet. Prawn cracker decent. Nasi lemak not fragrant. I won’t recommend."
cheryl ng
"Very crowded and need to Q for seat. The laksa is nice with fresh big springy prawn. Not suitable for solo as difficult to order food as no one take care of table"

If you have the time and transport Kampung Buntal and Pending are two other good choices.
