Reviews Summary
Sin Chong Choon Cafe is a highly popular breakfast spot, lauded for its authentic Sarawakian delicacies like Laksa and Kolo Mee, as well as its signature Teh C Peng Special drink. While many praise the vibrant atmosphere and swift service, some find the coffee average and parking can be a challenge. Overall, it's a beloved local eatery offering a diverse and flavorful experience.
"Loved their Teh C Special. It’s quite similar to the 3-Layer Tea we have in West Malaysia, but with a Sarawak twist. Instead of coconut sugar, they use Sarawak Nipah Palm Sugar for the bottom layer, giving it a distinct, fragrant sweetness.
The Kolo Mee stall offers flat noodles, also known as mee pok, which adds a unique take on the classic Kolo Mee experience. Out of the four stalls we tried, this ranks No. 2, just behind Premier Food Republic also located at Green Heights.
The Sarawak Laksa had a rich, flavorful broth that really packed a punch. I also enjoyed their Kong Pia which is a soft biscuit filled with savoury minced pork.
Overall, a great spot for breakfast in Kuching."

"If you're in Kuching and looking for a true local breakfast experience, Sin Chong Choon is where the magic happens. Spanning three bustling coffee shops, this food court-style haven draws an early morning crowd - expect to wait for a table on weekends, but trust me, it's worth every minute..
The variety is impressive: laksa, kolo mee, Foochow noodles, kong bian, and more - perfect for big groups with different cravings.
The standout? The seafood kolo mee - hands down one of my new favourites in Kuching. The noodles were wonderfully fragrant, perfectly springy, and paired beautifully with the savoury, ocean-rich depth of the seafood. Absolutely unforgettable.
The Sarawak laksa was another winner - hearty without being overly creamy. I went for standard bowl laksa at RM 8. For people who fancy bigger prawns & squid, the Laksa Special at RM18 offered a premium option. You can also opt for RM12 with larger prawns,
For those seeking variety, the Foochow Kan Pua noodles and Kong Bian (meat bun) are also worth a try - classic comfort food, expertly done. A must-visit breakfast spot in Kuching that combines atmosphere, flavour, and choice - you'll leave full and happy."

"I was recommended to visit here by the locals. I was told they have the best food here in Kuching so I decided to come here to check it out.
I had a few food items in mind, so when I arrived I started looking for them. Visited on a weekend lunchtime and it was quite packed but managed to find a seat. First I looked for the chee cheong fun stall it was closed. Then I looked for the popiah stall but didn't see any.
Next found this kolo mee stall, was told it was the best in Kuching because they had pork lard on it. Ordered it and tried it, it was pretty good. The noodles might look quite plain and dry but there was some sauce and the noodles managed to absorb the flavours of it.
The meat was alright and they were also quite generous with the pork lard.
Then I was also told the teh c special here is the best and I had to give it a try. I enjoyed it a lot, its slightly sweeter than a few others that I tried I thought this level of sweetness suits me the most.
Many other stalls, didn't get the chance to try all. Some stalls were already washing up for closure so I recommend to come here early where most stalls would be open.
Worth a try to come here and the teh c special is a must order!"
