Reviewers enjoy the fusion of local and Western pub fare, especially the pizzas and satay. "Lovely place to people watch. Very good location. Drinks well priced for the area.

Right on Jonker street. Sitting there from 6 to 7 it changes from a traffic jam to a market before your eyes. Good music played here, you like Cat Stevens era music."

Although the name states cafe, Geographer Cafe is clearly more pub than cafe. You’ll never miss this place with its striking yellow walls and green panels, and that’s a good thing because you really want to have a pitstop in this casual and laid back ‘cafe’, al fresco or not. With weekly live music shows and other events, there’s always something going on in there that’s worth your time.

The Vegan and Vegetarian Food Melaka Guide

Very touristy restaurant in the heart of the most touristy street of Malacca. Expect annoyingly loud music and lots of Asian tourists taking photos of their food (and a few westerners too… hallo!) Lots of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu (I like that all the ingredients are listed!) I ordered the longton (rice cubes, okra, cabbage, turmeric, lemongrass, tempeh) and the curry ramen (curry powder, rice noodles, cashew nuts, pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, sprouted long beans, eggplant, beancurd puff). Although both very mild in flavor, I really enjoyed my food.
