What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Restoran Aunty Lee is celebrated for its authentic and flavorful Peranakan cuisine, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. While many praise the rich flavors and generous portions, some reviews mention average food quality and ambiance, with one diner reporting cold food and loud customers.
"It's a nice cosy restaurant in Melaka Raya. Has Baba Nyonya food and a variety of dishes. The impressive part is that they have vege options, therefore inclusive of the vegetarians as well. The food tasted great. Loved the otak otak and fried brinjal in black pepper.
The service was fantastic, efficient, and with hospitality. The food came pretty fast.
The ambience, as mentioned, is cosy. There are a few large tables so a group visit would be nice. A couple of tables for 2 people would be an option to think about. Loved the experience.
Payment can be made by cash, card, or QR.
Parking slots were available during lunchtime, but not many."

"Food is good but nothing to shout.
A bit
Yes the pongteh a bit too sweet for me.
Rendang beef quite good but not the best.
Unfortunately the brinjal is tasteless and bitter I think burnt caramel sauce.
Eggs omelette the best of all.
The butterfly blue pea teh is unique."
Nana Lim
"Nice! was recommended by a colleague and food was indeed very yummy! surprisingly not too spicy and just enough flavour to make you feel like having a second helping. 😋 completed with their chef recommended chendol which was very creamy with coconut milk and you can choose how much gula melaka to add based on your personal liking. 👍"

It also came recommended by the bibiks at the Peranakan musuem as dining alone is a challenge as it’s not possible to order lots of dishes.
