Located near Parque de Santiago, Manifesto Casa Tostadora Calabrese is a popular cafe in Merida that focuses on providing the best possible coffee experience. With a dedicated approach, they select the finest beans, roast them with care, and serve their coffee in a variety of styles to satisfy any coffee lover’s taste. As an added bonus, the cafe also provides an assortment of food choices including filet américain, laing, and sandwiches.

We sourced our daily dose of caffeine from the Manifesto, which was only a few steps from our hotel – more about that later. The Manifesto is one of those hip cafes in Mérida and thanks to the many wooden designs and high ceilings – it makes you feel very cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet, and you find many people coming to Manifesto with their laptop to do some digital work.

Manifesto Cold Brew is located on Calle 18 to the north, and what distinguishes it from the other sites is that it has seating outdoors for customers to enjoy the fresh air. If you need to get some work done in a café, any location is a good choice, and Manifesto’s literal manifest, which is displayed on the wall and describes how to get the most out of your coffee, will give you the energy you need.

Manifesto is hailed as the no-nonsense coffee joint in town, with two locations you can visit. The Manifesto shop closer to Plaza Grande on Calle 59 has a few tables where you can work, and there’s a bunch of natural light coming in through the tall entryway. The northern location on Calle 18 is “Manifesto Cold Brew,” with the difference being that it has outdoor seating so you can enjoy fresh air.

Quite possibly our favorite coffee shop that we visited in Mérida was Manifesto Casa Tostadora Calabrese. The staff inside are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the inside space has a cool mix of wood and stone, with pops of blue. It is multilevel (although you can’t go to the second story) with the roaster on the second floor that you can see from the lower level.

Manifesto, like Marago, is known for its amazing organic coffee from all over Mexico. It is actually right by my house, and a very popular place to work, but the seating isn’t comfortable enough for me to work longer than 3 hours there. However, if you go there and buy something, you can work all day with no issues.

If there’s one thing you can be sure of it’s that Manifesto serves up a decent cup of coffee. They take their coffee seriously and you can taste it!. Located in an old colonial building on Calle 59, once you walk through the doors of Manifesto – you’ll quickly understand their branding and design.

Clean lines, exposed rock walls, rustic wooden tables, and pops of blue. Very simple, but modern and stylish with tons of natural light pouring in. There are only 5 tables, but are fairly large, so don’t be surprised if you’re sharing a table with a coffee mate.

Just 1 block from the Paseo de Montejo auction is Menta & Rosa, a picturesque place that is very instagrammable, reservations are recommended, it has parking, we recommend the chilaquiles and hot cakes, flavors that you will remember for several days.

After all, who doesn’t want to have a good cup of coffee to perk them up?. Well, you are in luck because Manifesto is one of those coffee shops that you will want to try. For starters, they serve freshly roasted beans from different regions in Mexico.

📍 Calle 59 #538, Centro, 97000 Manifesto is a cute little shop right near Centro. If you are on a tour and looking to get a break from the heat, this is definitely the place to take a quick break. But it’s not just a shop, it’s a toaster house.

Located in the historic center of Merida, Manifesto is home to some of the best coffee in town, with specialty brews from regions across Mexico. Their two downtown locations are great for getting work done.

It sits in a historic building on Calle 59 Just a 10 min drive from Casa Tuut. This third wave cafe focuses on specialty coffee and pour‑overs. It has a clean vibe and tall ceilings that help you focus.

When strolling through Centro, check out Manifesto Casa Tostadora — a cherished locale in the city famous for its artisan beans. Order a shot of ristretto from their brew bar and grab a dolce to-go.

Manifesto: This is one of the best spots to try Mexican coffee; Manifesto serves freshly brewed drinks made with local beans. They do offer food, but most visitors head there for its coffee.

If you're just looking for a very good coffee and don't need a huge breakfast menu, Manifesto near Parque de Santiago or the Baretto Espresso Bar (again Calle 47) might be the place for you.

Manifesto has 2 locations in Mérida and I went to the one in the centro. This café is a bomb working space. It´s spacious and offers lots of seating space with big tables.
