One of Mexico’s most interesting and varied gastronomic markets, Mercado 60 is home to eighteen culinary options that serve up everything from homemade pasta and sandwiches to Lebanese specialties and, of course, Mexican cantina fare. Get ready to hobnob with locals and travelers alike. The events calendar is packed too, with concerts, dance lessons, performing arts, and even dog adoption days.

Ask the 20- and 30-somethings where they're hanging out and they'll tell you Mercado 60. The first gastronomic and cultural market in Yucatán, Mercado 60 is part boutique, part music venue, part foodie destination. It was the first place I went in the city during my solo backpacking trip around Mexico in 2017.

Those looking for a more casual foodie affair need look no further than Mercado 60. Located in the heart of Merida’s Historic Center just one block north of Parque de Santa Lucia, this vibrant food stall hangout counts nine culinary vendors, three bars and two stages for nightly live music and performances. Guests are spoilt for choice with an impressive range of cuisines, crossing Mexican and Argentinian to Japanese and Texas-style BBQ. Open daily from 6pm, expect live music as the night progresses – eventually turning into a lively dance party.

Mercado 60 has been around for several years now and is an open-air food market with 14 different restaurants, a concept store of various Mexican brands, and live music almost every night of the week!. Since it first opened, it has been a huge hit with both locals, tourists and foreigners alike who live in Merida. The variety of really good food and drinks plus the music makes it an ideal place to visit in the evenings if you are looking for a festive ambiance.

Give me a place where I can get different types of food, live music, colorful Mexican decor, and throw in cute string lights as a bonus, and I'm in love!. Mercado 60, or M60, is an outdoor food hall where you can find everything from Oaxacan tlayudas to pasta while a live Cuban salsa band plays on a Saturday night. Here is where I found both locals and tourists alike yet I returned twice because the atmosphere was laid back and inclusive with communal tables.

Mercado 60 provides an amazing gastronomical experience a short distance from Parque Santa Lucia in central Merida. This gourmet street market consists of 8 restaurants, 4 bars, a food truck, and a concept store. The drinks at the various bars are table service, and you can wander between the different venues, ordering food and drinks from each place.

I also just read about Mercado 60 a new food hall with 18 restaurants and the new Casa Dominga Barrio Gourmet. Wayan’e is a casual spot known for their tacos at 408-412 Calle 59, while Manjar Blanco at 496 Calle 47 Zona Paseo Montejo is known for cochinita pibil, the traditional Mexican slow-roasted pork dish from the Yucatán Peninsula.

This is a great option if you have a lot of people who want different things and it has a wide variety of food from pizza to burgers, tlayudas, empanadas, and burritos and beyond.

We loved the Mercado 60, where you can be sat at a table with 6 people, listening to a live band, under fairy lights, all eating different things. You are surrounded by different food stalls and bars, and it’s a delicious time. (Link here.) The second place we loved was La Negrita, which is just down the road from the hostel.

There’s also Mercado 60, a food hall with 18 restaurants, and the newly-opened Casa Dominga, for a more laid-back gourmet adventure. Don’t leave the city without trying pre-Columbian specialties like cochinita pibil (pork marinated in achiote (annatto)), turkey salbutes and traditional papadzules (similar to enchiladas).

Don´t see what you want here then head up the calle 60 to Mercado 60 the right choice if everyone want´s something different and you want to be at the same table. It´s basically a food court from a trendy mall dropped into a old parking lot with a good location and live music. Plus it is open until 2 am on weekends.

If you want to try different cuisines all in one place, Mercado 60 is the place to go. It has several food stalls and a nice atmosphere to chat with friends and enjoy a drink or meal. You can choose from burgers, pizza, Japanese, Mexican and BBQ along with fresh juices and drinks.

Mercado 60 is one of the most unique Mérida dining experiences. Set up like a market, you have several vendors here with multiple food options to choose from!. They often have DJs and music going, so come the weekends it’s quite the place to grab a casual bite and drinks.

Go to Mercado 60 and choose between the variety of food stalls. You’ve got stalls selling burgers, burritos, pizza, fish tacos, and so much more. Bring friends with you and spend the night enjoying the vibrant ambiance, market lights, and if you’re lucky, live music.

Another family-friendly food court in Mérida is Mercado 60, located on Calle 60, between Calle 51 and Calle 53. Families can find a variety of cuisine besides Yucatecan cuisine. Occasionally, there are also live events and music that happen at Mercado 60.

It’s a food hall where you can try various styles of “street food” in a setting akin to a U.S. mall’s food court. That said, there’s genuine street food on any number of streets around the city. Filled tacos go for less than a dollar each, and are good.

The next evening, we went to check out Mercado 60, a high-end food court with lots of different food stalls. As I looked at the stalls surrounding me, I had a really hard time choosing what to order – there were so many options!

Now the big news last summer is Mercado 60 which is a block up calle 60 and open from 6 pm to 2.30. It´s a glorified food court in a deserted parking lot. Now this summer a copycat opened in a beautiful old Casona.

Mercacdo 60 is an upscale outdoor food court filled with about a dozen or so food and drink vendors. You can choose from Mexican, barbeque, sushi, and a variety of other cuisines. Good for groups too.

Mercado 60 is located in Mérida’s city center at Calle 60 No. 461, between Calle 53 and Calle 51. The venue sits just four blocks north of Plaza Grande and is easy to reach by foot, car, or local bus.

Mercado 60 - Like a small market but filled of little restaurants and pubs, very crowded on thrusdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Great for grabbing a drink and enjoy. Downtown at 60 street.

If you’re looking for a ton of different food options under one roof, Mercado 60 is definitely the place to go. We went there on our first night in Merida and we absolutely loved in.

Mercado 60 isn’t a food market but rather an area with gourmet food stalls. The market is more of a high-end hang-out. It’s open in the evenings for drinks and nibbles.

At Mercado 60 you will also find some tortas and tacos options. Tacos at Poncho’s and chel’s and Ki’oo’ch with Yucatecan cuisine. Calle 60 x 53 y 51, Centro Tel.

For a more casual culinary journey, there is also the recently opened Casa Dominga and Mercado 60, a food hall with 18 eateries.

Round off the evening with a delicious late night, greasy snack, such as tacos at Taquería De La Unión or Mercado 60.
