With tables neatly arranged in one of Condesa's most romantic gardens, this trendy spot showcases the creative international cuisine of chef Alejandra Navarro, formerly of world-famous Quintonil. The menu changes regularly and reflects seasonal ingredients, but typical fare includes flame-roasted beets with a chimichurri sauce, mussels steamed in a coconut-lemongrass broth, and organic smoked and roasted chicken au jus with new potatoes and a robust green sauce.

Botanico is like a foodie paradise that’s quickly become a favorite spot in Mexico City, including mine. The newest restaurant from chef Alejandra Navarro (from Quintonil), brings new flavors to the fine dining options. The outdoor terrace is lush, and a quiet hideaway from the city in an art deco mansion. The seasonal plates that come with the rotating menu are known for dishes like oyster platters and her pork Milanese.

Botánico is a newer restaurant in Condesa with a gorgeous outdoor patio space. It’s the perfect placce to take your best girlfriend for lunch and spend an afternoon nibbling across their menu and drinking bubbly. I say that, because it’s exactly what I did on both my visits there last year and had a fabulous time.

This is one of my favorite new restaurants, and I’m not alone—it’s very popular and hard to get a table. But once you’re in, you’re guaranteed great food and people-watching. The design is exceptional, with beautiful Art Deco touches and a secret-garden-esque patio with a 50-year-old cactus at the center of it.

One is Botánico, an open-air restaurant set within the courtyard of a renovated Art Deco home. At the restaurant’s center is a giant cactus with a small pond at its base. Within it are dozens of swimming axolotl, an aquatic salamander the Aztecs revered as an embodiment of the god of fire and lightning.

The lush open air dining space at Botanico is reason enough to go…but the hummus plate puts it over the top!. Served warm with flatbread, this simple dish was incredible. Add in a beautiful green salad and spicy fries, and I was completely satisfied (no room for an entree!).

Nestled within an art-deco mansion, Botanico greets you with towering cacti in its serene garden bistro. The restaurant offers an upscale and tranquil setting for a lavish lunch. If you want a break from Mexican cuisine, it's a great place to get international favourites.

It is a new restaurant in Mexico City in a super fun space in the Condesa neighborhood. It was lively with great music and lots of locals enjoying a night out. The whole restaurant is open-air, so I think it would be a great lunch place to enjoy the sunshine.

This amazing restaurant concentrates on the quality and freshness of their dishes and the experience of sharing a table. Their Mussels in coconut and lemongrass sauce are so good.
