"Despite asking my driver to take me to a local place, I ended up in this tourist trap. I wasn't very hungry so we both had the luke warm Aztec soup (tiny) followed by rice with an egg and mole and a pork taco for my driver. The whole thing was tasty but followed by massive heartburn. Go somewhere else, but where? I guess back to the city.

"This restaurant was part of our tour around Teotihuacán and showcases more traditional dishes and ingredients. We had to get their Molcajete that uses a volcanic bowl that it then lit on fire to get some extra char. We also go the Taco de Chapulines (crickets) and Taco de Chinicuiles (agave worms) and they were crunchy. A great add for a more adventurous eater. They also had a traditional dance and singer that gave good ambiance. Overall, enjoyed visiting this restaurant and had a pleasant experience! Service was friendly and helpful too."
