"Tucked away in the vibrant streets of Playa del Carmen, Trattoria del Centro feels like a hidden slice of Italy. With its warm lighting, exposed brick, and live music setting the mood, it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome. The service was impeccable—Luz and her coworkers made us feel like VIPs, anticipating every need without hovering. Their genuine care and warmth set the tone for the night, making the whole experience feel personal and seamless.
And then there’s the food. The pizza was perfection: the crust was soft, slightly charred and every bite was magical. The co-star was the ravioli, handmade with a delicate texture and swimming in a sage butter sauce that was pure indulgence. It was the kind of meal that transports you, making you feel like you’re sitting in a piazza in Rome. Easily one of the best meals of our trip, and we’re already planning our next visit.

My husband is picky & hard to please & after his first bite said “we will be back, this is amazing.” Nico, our waiter explained everything & was attentive and overall excellent! The ambiance is beautiful too. Also, the prices are amazing for the quality of food and service! I highly recommend giving it a shot especially if you like seafood."
