Reviews Summary
Diners rave about ZAIKA's authentic Indian flavors, with many calling it the best they've had outside of India. The magical courtyard setting adds to the charm, and the rotating menu keeps things interesting. However, some have found the food to be bland or overpriced, and service can be slow at times.
"I have been living in Mexico for 5 years and after a long time I ate authentic indian food in Mexico. I ordered Chana Masala, garlic roti and Madala Chai. Masala chai with Parle-G biscuit reminded me of my childhood. The Chana masala was very good. Chana were cooked perfectly. Garlic roti was good. The music and vibe are an added bonus. The owners of restaurant were cordial and their hospitality is awesome."

"We had an absolutely amazing meal at Zaika in June. Hands down this is amongst the best Indian food we have ever had (including even Toronto, Vancouver and London).
The food is 100% authentic. To start we had the Sev Puri (these crispy delicious spheres filled with a potato, chickpea and chutney mix that a simply a delicious explosion of flavour) A lentil Dal and Butter Chicken to share as our mains and some rice and garlic roti to accompany it all.
Everything was delicious and our server was super friendly and gracious. We also had the honour to briefly meet the chef and owner (who is originally from India) and the cute little son who is the epitome of the beautiful love story of the Indian/Mexican couple who have made this culinary gem a reality in Mexico.
The place is also just lovely, the entrance is beautiful, elegant and modern with little touches of originality and tradition that speak to the Indian experience to be had. Unfortunately it was raining that evening but we could tell the garden space would be a lovely area as well to share a meal. Definitely a place we will go back to in the future."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience here back in feb 2025. The butter chicken tasted like boiled chicken—bland and lacking any real flavor. The naan was more like a tortilla, overpriced and nowhere near worth the cost. Despite the high prices, there was no complimentary bread or rice served with the main course, which felt like poor value for money. To make matters worse, the terminal is programmed to automatically add at least a 10% tip, which felt forced. When I gave honest feedback about the food, the lady owner was unable to take it constructively and was quite defensive. Overall, this place is overpriced and does not deliver on taste or service. I would not recommend it."
