Reviews Summary

YAH-YAH Sayulita Café is celebrated for its high-quality food and exceptional coffee, with many calling it the best breakfast spot in town. Diners praise the friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and healthy options. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few reviews mention inconsistencies in coffee preparation.

"Quaint breakfast/brunch/lunch place. Nice patio, and the service was good. The food in regard to quality, presentation, and taste was some of the best I had in Sayulita. Coffee was also of superb quality. Especially recommend the breakfast sandwich “De La Casa”."

"We ate here twice while staying in Sayulita. The first time, the fried eggs and the bacon were overcooked. The service and atmosphere was grand. The second time, I had the Breakfast Bowl, and it was fabulous. The staff is really friendly and welcoming."

Todd B

"Update: we came back today and knowing their policies, I informed the waitress we planned to stay for 3 hours and in that time period we would order a total of four drinks and two breakfasts. I asked her if that would be okay because they are so strict about co-working. She said yes that's fine and so we proceeded to order three drinks. There was two of us total. After 1 hour the owner came over and told us we had to leave because we hadn't ordered enough. I explained to him that his staff member had okayed the situation and I explained to him that we were going to have a substantial order. At the time he told us to leave there were three open tables.

My original review:
One of the few coffee shops in town that offer both AC and good Wi-Fi along with ergonomical seating. They also have an excellent selection of specialty coffees including chemex and some things we have never even tried before. So we absolutely loved this place.

They are very strict about making sure you order something every hour, Maybe a little too forceful but I understand the reasoning. It's a small place and sometimes digital nomads can be rude and inconsiderate.

If you're going to visit a coffee shop like this be sure to continue ordering on a regular basis just like if you were paying for a co-working space. It costs a lot of money to provide gourmet coffee in a wonderful environment so the rules make sense. We will be back."

Vegan Guide to Sayulita, Mexico

A little bit off the beaten path, Yah Yah Cafe, was our first introduction to molletes. If you’ve never had them before, molletes are basically any beans spread on bread with any combination of toppings, but specifically, these were beans, vegan cheese and pico de gallo. However, Aaron found the secret by substituting the pico for avocado and thus made Mexican avocado toast.
