YAH-YAH Sayulita Café

This small café recently moved from its centrally located spot near the main square to a newer, more contemporary location. It serves everything from pastries (called pan dulce locally), bagels, and healthy smoothie bowls to hearty omelettes and waffles topped with strawberries and chocolate sauce. Their coffee menu is extensive and gets great reviews from repeat customers.

A little bit off the beaten path, Yah Yah Cafe, was our first introduction to molletes. If you’ve never had them before, molletes are basically any beans spread on bread with any combination of toppings, but specifically, these were beans, vegan cheese and pico de gallo. However, Aaron found the secret by substituting the pico for avocado and thus made Mexican avocado toast.

Yah Yah Cafe: For a more health-conscious breakfast, Yah Yah offers a great selection of smoothies, smoothie bowls and organic breakfast options. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and their avocado toast and chilaquiles are fan favorites. The cozy ambiance and friendly service make this spot perfect for starting your day in a relaxed, healthy way.

This health food haven is my favorite place to have a quiet breakfast (location on map) and coffee away from the crowd. It’s also a have a coffee and chat with friends. I can’t say enough about this place because there are so many options to choose from whether you go the loaded bagel/croissant route or the pretty-Instagram bowl route.

Thanks to Yah-Yah Café, you never have to go without a premium cup of Joe while you're visiting Sayulita. The two locations specialize in various extraction techniques, including Chemex, espresso, V-60, and more. All of the coffee drinks are made with 100% Mexican-grown beans.

📍 Location: Yah Yah is not located in town (in Sayulita, the most central is the plaza). It’s not a far walk – it’s about 5 minutes from the plaza. They are not in the commercial area (more residential) so peace and quiet are guaranteed even in their outdoor area.

It’s a traditional Mexican dish of chili stuffed with beef, pork, finely chopped and vegetables. It is quite hard to find this dish in other Sayulita restaurants so better come here for this!. Sayulita Cafe is also a hidden spot and is only popular with locals.

A popular spot for breakfast and lunch on the South side of town is YAH-YAH Café. Serving up specialty coffees as well as delicious looking breakfast sandwiches. This definitely would have been our spot if our accommodations were on this side of town!

This is another of the most popular brunch spots in Sayulita. It’s a cute small place known for its specialty coffee; definitely some of the best (maybe the best) in town. There are espresso-based drinks, Chemex and v60, iced coffee, matcha, and more.

YAH-YAH not only has the best tasting breakfast you might ever have but the presentation is unreal. I am pretty sure I have never seen prettier food in my entire life. You eat with your eyes first and YAH-YAH knows this!

You can find very delicious food for Breakfast or Lunch at Yah-Yah Cafe. We loved the vibe of this place and the delightful vegan bagels and sandwiches we had here. They offer good coffee and smoothies as well.

This charming and quaint coffee bar and café are a must-visit!. Tastefully decorated with coffee and pastries straight from heaven. Equally, Yah Yah Café offers various delicious healthy meals and sweet treats.

If you are a bagel and waffle lover you have to try this place, all home made bagels, so delicious and perfect to start your morning. They also have an extended menu with delicious meals to choose.

Other favorite spots for breakfast are Miscelanea Cafe (which is known for their chilaquiles), Yah-Yah, and El Original for a traditional Mexican breakfast.
