La Taquería Tulum is a beautiful outdoors eatery located on Calle 12 Sur in the La Veleta neighborhood, one of the best neighborhoods in Tulum. Live music, a fabulous layout, and friendly staff are all things to love at La Taquería — though nothing beats the tacos themselves.

From a recent diner like you, Exe and Glenda stand out for their exceptional service. Indulge in the must-try tempura fried fish tacos and nachos, where the Serrano sauce adds a flavorful kick.

La Taqueria Tulum lets you experience classic Mexican cuisine inside a vibrant restaurant full of murals of lush jungles and rich wildlife. You’ll see lots of bright colors and get lively energy as you enjoy the excellent food that La Taqueria serves. The restaurant’s best-selling menu is its octopus tacos and tempura fish tacos.

Right across the street from Best Tacos Pepe is one of my favorite places for the best tacos in Tulum – La Taqueria. This one is on the pricier side but sometimes it is exactly what you’re looking for – a really nice place with a nice atmosphere and good food. In that case, La Taqueria is the perfect place for that!

It’s a simple-sounding taco place, but don’t judge a book by its cover, this “pinches tacos” place is very trendy and popular – and for good reason. They only serve tacos, burritos, and nachos with your selection of either pork, beef, shrimp, or fish. Yes, they have vegan options too.

La Taquería, for example, serves an unforgettable al pastor taco made with thinly sliced marinated pork, cooked on a vertical spit resembling shawarma. The carne asada taco, featuring grilled beef, is another delight, with regional variations offering different cuts and salsas.

I tried both their fish tacos ($3.50 USD each) and their shrimp tacos ($4 USD each) at the La Valeta location. Both were delicious, albeit a bit small, but the shrimp were definitely better in my opinion. There is also a location on the beach.

Located in the heart of Downtown Tulum, next to Taquería Honorios we are a Food Truck Park with different options: Taqueria, Vegan Foods, Cold Brew, Sandwiches, Food from Spain, Chilaquiles Brunch and a full stocked bar.

This was hands down our favourite place to get vegan Mexican food in Tulum. It is not a fully vegan restaurant, however, and not the cheapest. But the quality of the food made us come back multiple times.

La Taquería— this is found in a little area that has food truck style options!. I had chicken tacos and they were bomb!. If you are looking for something quick and on the cheaper end this is the place!

La Taqueria is located outside of downtown Tulum on Tulum beach. This is a newcomer to the taco scene in Tulum. It’s a trendy fancy taco place, but they serve legit tacos!
