Palma central is quite fun, the entrance is $70 mxn and includes a soft drink or beer. All the food trucks are delicious. Our Airbnb is just 10min driving from the place so is so easy to get there. Stay at casa dum Tulum (find us on instagram, link in bio) #tulum #thingstodo #tulummexico

🇲🇽 Top places for dancing salsa in Mexico ➡️➡️ 📍 Palma Central in Tulum — a hidden gem with an authentic, slightly alternative vibe. ℹ️Every tuesday they host Salsa Night with classes and dancing — such a fun experience and definitely worth checking out! 📍Mercado 60 in Mérida was also a highlight with bursting energy, live music, and great atmosphere Highly, highly recommend! #mercado60#merida#...

Reviews Summary

Palma Central is a lively and versatile dining spot praised for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse food truck offerings, and excellent Tuesday night entertainment. While many enjoy the family-friendly environment and the variety of global cuisines, some reviews mention less-than-friendly service at the bar.

"Was here for the Tuesday night event. It costs 70 pesos to get it but gets you a soda or water. They have live music, fire show, a little craft market and many people doing salsa for entertainment. The place is surrounded by nice food trucks and a couple bars. There are picnic tables and nice shared washrooms. Great atmosphere, mix of locals and tourists having a fun night dancing 💃🏼"

Jean-Philippe McCluskey

"Great experience there! Lots of options to eat and good to bring your kids to play. They have a sort of playground and for food I suggest the Argentinian empanadas and the sushi place!"

Susana Simon

"Definitely you have to visit on a Tuesday night when they offer Salsa Classes

We Paid $70 MX Pesos but this included a drink and you can choose from water to beer, they have several food trucks inside and a main bar with a large selection of drinks, beer and wine.

Plenty of local artists showcasing their handcrafted products including jewelry and other accessories

They also have a small kids playground area.

Clean bathrooms available.

We loved ❤️ our visit here.

The Best Vegetarian Food in Tulum (Plus Playa del Carmen and Cozumel!)

Palma Central - Another spot that was easily accessible to our place (our airbnb was on the edge of town so proximity is a recurring theme haha :)) and had so many options to choose from!. It’s an outdoor market with food stalls, a weekly clothing and crafts fair, and live music on Tuesdays. (Note: Closed on Wednesdays!) The veggie tacos I got there were just OK, but I really loved getting a change of pace with the pad thai and loaded baked potatoes.
