Reviews Summary
L'Osteria della Nonna offers a charming Italian dining experience, with many praising the authentic homemade pasta and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, often enhanced by the owner's personal touch. However, some diners have noted issues with food seasoning, limited menu availability, and the cash-only policy.
"The restaurant is owned by an old lady from Italy. The menu is quite short, contains some starters, home made ravioli and tagliatelle + tiramisu.
Entrance to the restaurant is through the ice cream shop.
I highly recommend this place for everyone who's looking for Italian food in Mexico land :) Food was delicious, portions are not the biggest, but really good.
Besides the Italian lady, two young waiters work there, they're still learning and do their best."

"Spoiler: CASH ONLY!!!
The only reason for the 4 stars is that we weren’t informed beforehand that the restaurant is cash only, and we had planned to pay by card. It would be helpful if they mentioned it before ordering or put a sign at the entrance. Other than that, it was an amazing meal, and we’d definitely come back!
We had a great experience at this cozy Italian restaurant! The food has a truly traditional Italian taste, and it’s amazing that the nonna, who is actually from Italy, cooks everything herself and even makes the pasta from scratch. The creamy truffle and potato ravioli was absolutely incredible—definitely our favorite! We also enjoyed the rabbit rosemary ravioli, and Impepata (mussels), all of which were flavorful and well-prepared."

"Not the best in the world. The pasta is handmade which you can definitely taste a little hard. The owner and staff are super friendly. The menu is limited, and many things are unavailable. The prices are high relative price/quality. They only had tagliatelle and ravioli which are not my favorites, so my husband just had the tagliatelle with bolognese. It was ok, nothing that blows your mind. Maybe the ravioli are the specialty with other sauces but we didn’t try. Bring repellent for the mosquitoes outside. Cash only."
