We begin on the Avenue des Spélugues, where you will find the Gaia restaurant, with its Greek-inspired fare and lounge atmosphere, or the more classic Rampoldi which is sure to be appreciate by those with a taste for luxury cuisine. Heading down towards the sea, you will come across the Buddha Bar, a blend of nightclub, restaurant, and terrace bar, with a lively ambience courtesy of the DJ. The path leads on to the Portier district, where you will find a number of eateries including Mozza (Italian), Cozza (Fish), Cipriani (New-York tradition) and La Table d’Elise with its Provençal-inspired menu.

The first international outpost of the Dubai-based haute Greek concept couldn’t be in a better location, unfolding on the edge of Monte Carlo’s Casino Square. A twist on a classic taverna, GAIA Monte-Carlo feels like it was plucked from one of the Greek islands. In Monaco, GAIA’s intimate rooms and covered terrace have become a local favorite just as much for people-watching as staples like honey-drizzled grilled feta and black truffle-infused tiropita, or phyllo cheese pie.

The Gaia restaurant, in the heart of Monte-Carlo, is THE reference!. With a mouthwatering selection of fish from the market, whether you like it raw, cooked with speciota, grilled, in a salt crust or ‘harissa style’, you’re bound to find something to suit your taste. You can also opt for one of the chef’s suggestions: the ‘Plateau de la mer’, with its carefully selected tartares and sashimi.

After arriving in the morning, have a pleasant, tasty lunch at one of only two Gaia restaurants in the world (the other one being in Dubai), where you will get a unique taste of Greek cuisine. Then, take a nice walk to world-famous Place du Casino and the new One Monte Carlo district (External link) , and stop at Mada One to sample some of their famous Mad’Champagne Tea.

If you’re feeling hungry, Gaia should be your first port of call. This restaurant prides itself on serving generous plates full of its Greek-Mediterranean style flavour. Chefs and culinary experts Izu Ani and Orestis Kotefas have created a delectable menu combining fresh ingredients, traditional flavours, and Greek-Mediterranean home-style cooking.

Originally, Buddah Bar was the plan for dinner, but they had to close unexpectedly, so I called Gaia, a Greek restaurant, and boy oh boy, they did NOT disappoint!. The only downside was that we weren’t able to be seated outside. While that’s usually fine, the difference here is that they offer hookah smoking for outdoor seating only.

Gaia, a collaboration between a Dubai-based chef Izu Ani and Bulldozer Group, is hot property right now. It has an atmosphere of a trendy “place to be”, combined with quality food offerings. The menu is gourmet Greek, which is a rarity for Monaco.

Gaia is a fabulous Greek Restaurant with tasty food, a beautiful bar inside and a huge selection of cocktails which turns into a night club on Fridays and Saturdays. Located in Le Metropole Shopping Centre.

The service was excellent, the food was delicious and healthy!. They catered for food allergies really well and their gluten free bread was top notch!. Thanks, will definitely be back😊
