Le Grand Balcon du Café Glacier is lauded for its breathtaking panoramic views of Jemaa el-Fna square, especially captivating during sunset and at night. While the service can be inconsistent and prices are higher due to the prime location, many find the visual experience to be well worth the cost. It's considered a prime spot for photography and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech. [^R1, ^R2, ^R3, ^T1, ^M3]
"Forget the overpriced tea: you’re paying for the view. And if you can get here for sunset, even better, as that’s when the square below comes to life. I came back late on too, and sat amongst some local people downstairs, watching the world go by…equally memorable, so worth stopping by."

"Beware of the 25 DH (2.5 euros) fee per person to enter the terrace. You get a drink with the entry fee (we paid 5 euros for a small mint tea and a small water bottle). No space to sit at a table before sunset, but we managed to get 2 chairs. It got really crowded at sunset time, but the amazing sunset and views to the square was worth the fee."
Leire G.
"Think of it only as a viewpoint over the beautiful, busy, and illuminated square. It really has absolutely nothing to do with a restaurant. The staff was unfriendly – you pay €8 for two warm cans that you have to take from the fridge yourself. That’s pretty much all there is to say."
