Reviews Summary

Mandala Society is highly praised for its excellent food, particularly its vegan options and fresh ingredients, and the beautiful rooftop ambiance. While many highlight the friendly service and unique decor, some reviews mention occasional service inconsistencies. Overall, it's a recommended spot for its healthy, delicious meals and pleasant atmosphere.

"I was looking for a breakfast spot and came across this place with great reviews, so I decided to give it a try.

The place is really nice, well-designed, and has a beautiful, well-organized rooftop. The service was great and the staff were super friendly. I ordered an Americano and some food — everything was tasty and the quality was solid. Prices were actually pretty good considering the vibe and the service.

Definitely a good choice if you’re in the mood for a chill spot and a delicious breakfast."

"We ate here during our recent stay in Marrakech. The food was excellent. We ate on the rooftop which was very nice even on a hot day. The cold ice teas were excellent, we had a Moroccan mint and hibiscus tea drink. For our main meal we had the quesadilla, gazpacho and fries. Everything was excellent and the service was also very professional. We will definitely go back when we return to Marrakech!"

Tina Kabarec Quiroz

"Was in the area and decided to try this cafe out. We found their menu rather thoughtful, with a focus on pescatarian and vegan options. Ordered the gazpacho which was incredibly delicious as the weather has been really hot. Had the salmon burger which came with whole cut fries which was great. Had their iced orange blossom and hibiscus tea which were absolutely refreshing for the summer."

An expert guide to Marrakech

Lunch on tasty Lebanese salads or a vegan burgher at Naranj or the Mandala Society, before heading northwest across the Djemaa el-Fna and picking up Rue Mouassine, which is lined with some of the souk's chicest shops. Just past the landmark mosque and Mouassine fountain, you can slip into Le Jardin Secret, one of the Medina’s largest and most important gardens set out in the shell of a 19th-century palace. Divided into two distinct areas, the gardens are a perfect example of Islamic garden design.

Best Breakfast in Marrakech: Must-Try Spots [2025]

Even after visiting countless cafes in the Medina, I keep coming back to The Mandala Society for its perfect blend of hipster charm and authentic Moroccan flair. You’ll need to climb several flights of stairs, but trust me, the spacious rooftop terrace with its stunning city views is worth every step. What I absolutely love here is their banana bread drizzled with amlou and chocolate sauce, paired perfectly with a chai latte made with real non-dairy milk, something that’s quite rare in Marrakech!
