What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Plus61 is lauded for its exceptional food, creative dishes, and outstanding service, offering a modern Australian take on Mediterranean and global flavors. Diners rave about standout dishes like the tuna tartare and baked cheesecake, praising the fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. While most reviews are glowing, one reviewer found the ambiance to be cold and the service lacking genuine warmth, contrasting with the general sentiment of friendly and attentive staff.
"Just wow.
Of all the dishes we had I am obsessed with the tuna tartare on top of stracciatela.
The fish was great as a main, and the baked cheesecake was incredible (we literally repeated the dish to get some more spoonfuls each).
The fried olives were fine but i wouldn’t order them again. The mushroom gyozas were also “fine”.
But sincerely, this was a great restaurant and overall we were all really pleased.
Amazing service , great vibes and incredible food"

"Very pleasant and fresh meal. Good to break things up when you’re in marrakesh trying local cuisine. A very modern take on modern dining. Not super fine dining where portions are small and you leave hungry. but nice enough to appreciate great tasting food and great service. If you’ve ever gone out for food in Australia, then expect similar vibes here. Would definitely recommend."

"Drinks, specials, service, food and atmosphere absolutely 10/10. A must visit if you’re in Marrakech, and we will definitely be back and telling all our friends. Loved the evening specials - food and drinks. Highly recommend the grilled octopus starter and roasted cauliflower! Good veggie options too."

The best secret restaurants in Marrakech
The secret’s long out on Plus61 after it burst onto the scene in 2018, casually marrying tasty Sydney-style dining with locally grown organic produce in a sun-splashed dining room. However, many travellers still don't know about it and they’ve since added a stellar cocktail menu and one of the best wine lists in town to pair with seasonal dishes such as wild green tart (with ricotta, spinach and herbs), chicken schnitzel, bean mash and pickled onions, plus polenta cake with roast peaches and ginger. Keep an eye out for their wildly popular pop-ups when roving chefs to come work their magic with Moroccan ingredients.
