What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kebab King is celebrated for its incredibly delicious and affordable Indian cuisine, particularly its curries and naan, prepared by skilled chefs. However, some diners note slow service due to staffing issues and occasional concerns about hygiene. While most dishes are praised, some specific items like cheese naan have received mixed feedback.
"The best restaurant in Nepal by a mile. Curries are the best I have ever had even though I have traveled round the whole of India before. Chicken tikka butter masala was to die for and dal fry and dal makhani were equally as good. Garlic nan was superb as well. Beers were good price, only 400 which was cheap. 100% worth a stop. We had to come back multiple times"

"chicken butter tikka masala was SO good! overall AMAZING food :). small business with very reasonably priced food. lassis were on the sweeter side (they added sugar) & only item i will NOT RECOMMEND is the cheese naan. it was practically cheese ON TOP of naan 😭.
service can also be slow due to the stall being short staffed. regardless, meal was super yummy in general & would highly recommend."

"The monarchy has returned to Nepal! Uniting the country with its tasty chicken.
Came here twice for the tandoori chicken with naan. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and welcoming.
Long live the king"

24 Awesome Things To Do in Pokhara - Nepal
A small local restaurant in a side street on the south side of Lakeside with amazing Indian food and awesome chicken kebabs (skewers). We ate lunch here a couple of times, the food is cheap and delicious. I love their Dal Fry with Garlic Naan, basic, but one of my Indian favorites, the Nepali Veg Tali Set here is one of the best value meals we had in Nepal.
Where to Eat in Pokhara, Nepal: the 12 Best Places to Eat
The Kebab King’s exterior makes it look like the restaurant isn’t anything to write home about, but the delicious Indian food here will have you drooling. The eatery looks like someone’s kitchen which, in my opinion, is the first sign that the food is good. You might even walk right past this place were it not for the restaurant’s signage.
