I recently visited Golden Harvest Restaurant and left with mixed feelings. On the surface, everything looked promising—the restaurant was bustling, the service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly. However, the flavours just didn’t live up to the presentation.
The wantons and dumplings looked great, but unfortunately, they were overpowered by oil. The fillings lacked seasoning and tasted bland, missing even the basics like salt. It was a similar story with the Chicken & Cashew Nuts. Despite asking for it to be made spicy, it arrived completely tasteless. I had to add extra chilli and soy sauce just to get some flavour out of it.
While the food was presented well and the service staff were friendly and efficient, the taste left a lot to be desired. I couldn’t understand why the place was almost full, given how underwhelming the food was.
Golden Harvest might appeal to those who prioritize fast service and presentation, but if you're looking for rich, balanced flavours, you might be disappointed."

"Yum yum yummilicious!!❤️😍Wontons in Hot and Spicy Sauce, Prawn dumplings and Nasi Goreng satisfying my soul and stomach 👏 The portion sizes other than the dumplings is good and can be shared..I can definitely vouch for the pork wontons in hot and spicy sauce in this cold weather, so flavourful 🤤❄️
We tried the deep fried ice-cream ball for desserts, it could have been crispier ! The place is a good sized Chinese restaurant with a nice ambiance and decor 🧚🏻♂️
