Reviews Summary

Punnet Eatery is widely praised for its delicious food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a family favorite. While some note it can be on the pricier side, the quality and ambiance generally justify the cost. A few reviews mention dishes arriving cold or potential service hiccups during busy times, but the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting it as a must-visit destination.

"Very beautiful place with warm welcoming staff, reasonable number of meal options but in high quality.
I've had chicken burger with a slice of ham, it was served with chips and sauces, excellent taste, but the chicken thickness could be more, it was about 5mm, it would be better if it were thicker, but the overall taste was perfect. Their pastries also looked very tempting but I had to go to a site visit and couldn't fill my belly up. Enough parking area, joyful place to be."

Salar Lotfee

"The food and service were excellent, although we experienced a mix of three waitresses and a double-serve of drinks. Perhaps this was due to our close proximity to the end of the service time, as they ensured our orders were processed promptly. The ambiance, price, quality, and portion size were all excellent. We would definitely consider returning for future visits to New Zealand."

Maximus Power (Max Power)

"Great lunch date with friends. Food was delicious and service perfect. Eggs bene with salmon, quinoa salad, and salmon toat with edamame."

You can pick your own fresh berries in summer at The Strawberry Farm run by the McMahon family (subject to the strawberry seasons availability). If you are visiting in winter you will have to skip the strawberry picking but it is definitely still worth a visit for lunch at Punnet and a play on the fun playground for kids with life sized wooden aeroplanes, helicopters, and more to entertain them for hours. If you are visiting in the school holidays they have cooking activities you can book the kids in for on selected days too.
