I loved Atamira, with its large but thoughtfully curated range of clothing, jewellery and books, and the selection of vintage threads, records and artwork at Ulo’s, the gallery sister to the restaurant, full of artist Kyoko Shirai’s distinctive creations.

Raglan Fish is the best fish and chip shop, and seafood shop generally, in Raglan. That’s according to my brother who works in hospitality and has tried a fair few Raglan fish and chip shops. This low-key spot is located at the very end of Raglan Wharf.

This popular fish & chips shop is situated right on the Raglan harbour—on a good day, you really can’t beat the spacious, sunny deck at this spot. Their fish is super fresh and portions are generous.

Raglan Fish at the Wharf has fresh fish you can cook in your bach, and it also offers fish and chips. Eat them on the Wharf and watch the fishing enthusiasts try to catch a few of their own.

We were told that fish and chips served at wharf-based Raglan Fish are delicious. Their wet fish selection, sold fresh off the boat, certainly looked very appealing.
