What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fat Badgers Pizza Bar is a popular Queenstown spot praised for its massive and flavorful New York-style pizzas, with generous toppings and large sizes that are great for sharing. Diners also appreciate the friendly and efficient service, as well as the vibrant atmosphere. However, some reviews mention occasional issues with pizza flavor being a bit bland or the crust being too hard, and one customer reported a significant order mistake with no follow-up.
"Crispy pizza with tons of toppings on it. We had Smoky pizza. The sweet BBQ sauce is not to my liking, but still good. I like the tap beer, Pandhead Sandman, for its rich flavor although the beers is a bit overpriced. And I love the music played here!"

"Great pizza. The large will feed 3-4 adults.
The base and sauce was nice.
We had a half and half vege option of the princess and 5 cheese. Amazing.
Outdoor seating and a terrace option.
Highly recommended."
Paul Thomson
"I stopped by this place for a quick lunch and ordered a slice of Margherita pizza for $8 and the poutine fries for $12. The pizza slice was a decent size, but the taste was disappointing—it was very dry and stale (like eating a cracker) and lacked tomato sauce. On the other hand, the poutine was great. It came in a generous portion, loaded with crispy chips, rich gravy, and melted cheese—perfect comfort food for winter. I’d definitely come back for the poutine only."
