Established in 1977,📍The Cow 🐄 was originally a cow milking shed. It’s now the oldest operating restaurant in Queenstown, serving delicious pizzas and spaghetti. It’s honestly a bit pricey, but the portions are huge and the atmosphere is super cozy 🍕 #queenstown #newzealand #foodie #traveltok #roadtripnz

The Cow is celebrated for its incredibly cozy and rustic atmosphere, reminiscent of a ski lodge, and its legendary, addictive garlic bread. Diners rave about the generous portions of delicious pizzas and pastas, and the warm, friendly service. While often busy with queues, the turnover is generally fast, making it a worthwhile wait for a comforting meal.

"Another favourite among the local restaurants!
The garlic bread is a must-try — seriously addictive. We also loved their pasta, and the best part? You can order half servings so you can try more dishes. The staff were super friendly, and they serve the best mulled wine 🍷 in town. Everything came out piping hot, which we really appreciated!

Nothing beats the ambiance — it truly takes you back in time.

Make sure to visit this iconic local spot the next time you’re in Queenstown!"

Best Restaurants in Queenstown

Cool, cosy Queenstown comfort, like being in a log cabin or Wild West frontier house, with roaring fires and comfy sofas, it's pretty hard to leave here once you've settled in. Pizza and pasta is the order of the day here, in small or large sizes but, beware, the pizzas especially are heavily-laden, and it's not unusual for even the biggest gorger to need a nose-bag to take the rest home in.
