Their pizzas are genuinely gourmet and quite possibly the best in town, so it’s well worth a visit whether it’s cold or roasting hot outside.

I recommend the margarita pizza, it’s refreshing and has a good cheese pull. Dessert pizza was mediocre and personally not worth the price. They do not offer gluten free garlic bread or chips, which was a bit disappointing for my daughter, however she did enjoy the gluten free pizza.

If you crave pizza, Winnies is a local legend, home to some of the biggest pizzas in town, with cocktails, DJs, and dancing later on. Fat Badger’s Pizza serves up huge New York style pizzas. While Mrs Ferg Gelateria serves 50 different flavours of gelato, all made right here.

Winnies is a longstanding pizza restaurant and bar in Queenstown that's great for dinner and a night out. They even have an opening roof for those warm summer nights. It's a great spot for families, couples, groups of friends and parties.

Max and I went to Winnie’s for dinner and not only was the food amazing, but the restaurant is located on the second floor so the outdoor patio has a great view of the downtown. We split the Montonara pizza and a greek salad!

It’s easy to overlook Winnies when you’re on the hunt for a burger. It is, after all, best known for its gourmet pizza. However don’t let the Italian label fool you, as Winnies serves up one heck of a burger as well.

Some of my favourites include Jervois Steakhouse, Tanoshi (Japanese), Madam Woo (Malaysian), Blue Kanu (Polynesian), Margo’s (Mexican), The Cow (pizza & pasta), Winnie’s (Pizza) and, of course, the famous Fergburger.
