"Had dinner, breakfast and lunch here, everything was very good. Steak was cooked as ordered for everyone in a large group, chicken was tender and moist, full of flavour. Some of the best chips I've had in a long time, crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle, not at all oily and well seasoned. Service was very good, very personable and attentive."

"Had a special dinner out with my wife at Barrel and Co. The food was superb and I highly recommend the rump steak. All steak was cooked perfectly. My Prawn Salad entree was very well balanced.
For me though the service and atmosphere do not match the price range of the resturant. At this range I would expect to be looked after very well e.g my water filled when empty, or them topping up my wine glass from the bottle we purchased.
It was a nice night out with great food but also the wine list has nothing under $72 a bottle or $20 a glass."

"We are Accor Plus members so the choice was easy to dine at out hotel on the night we stayed in the Pullman Rotorua. We didn't feel like walking around town to find something with a bit of fun and atmosphere because there was no atmosphere at Barrel and Co on a quiet winter night on a Wednesday. The staff however made up for it with Kaushi, Paolo and Chef Jamie delivering smiles and conversation in just the right ammount. The food was another level. The fish was about the best my wife has tasted and the massive steak (500gm) was perfectly cooked with just the right side dishes. We couldnt have asked for more and had a great night. We would certainly recommend on the meal quality alone - the service was just a bonus. The next morning we went in for the breakfast and once again the food was great."
