Replete is the fantastic result of 30 years of hard work and passion. With the same owners still at the helm, this is one of Taupō’s most loved cafes, with locals and visitors flocking for the food and the atmosphere. With plenty of space for people to relax and wander, Replete offers cosy dining nooks, sells the best in kitchenware and food products, and boasts a full cafe cabinet (plus a full breakfast and lunch menu!) so customers always leave relaxed and replete.

Replete Café & Store is a Taupo institution known for its wide range of delicious Taupo food breakfast options and exceptional coffee. The café's inviting atmosphere, combined with its commitment to using fresh, local ingredients, makes it a standout. Whether you are feasting on their Best Ugly Bagel or their unique Vogels Toast with buffalo mozzarella and herb pesto — a meal here is bound to be a luxurious start to the day.

A good night's sleep saw us heading for breakfast at Replete cafe, a local favourite that serves up cabinet delights and poached eggs alongside a quaint little store stocked with boutique food items and luxury homewares. Rocket was welcome inside, but with an array of shiny things to grab and fondle, the kids had us wolfing our food and drowning our coffee in record time, ready for the next dog-friendly stop.

If I’m roaring through around brunch-o’clock I’ll stop at Replete on HeuHeu street, which also has a very nice kitchenware shop attached. You can pick up food to eat in or takeaway and they do things like yummy Thai curries, pasta, stuffed kumara, and a mighty fine coffee. Sitting outside people watching on the footpath with a weekend paper is one of life’s modest pleasures.

Front and centre on Te Heu Heu Street, you’ll get plenty of people-watching done here from their outdoor tables, or inside window seats. But most importantly, you’re absolutely spoilt for choice from their generous cabinet selection and breakfast menu from 8:00 am - 11:30 am. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are plentiful, and the coffee is insanely good!

The store is ‘replete’ with carefully curated products for home and living, designed for an aesthetic and longevity. The cafe has an extensive menu and a cabinet stocked to the brim with food options to cater for everyone. Established in 1993, it is still owned and operated by its original owners.

Replete offers superb coffee, filling breakfasts, and exceptional lunches. Millers Coffee provides the cafe’s green coffee beans. The unique furniture allows visitors to comfortably lounge while sipping on coffee and contemplating the menu.

This buzzing cafe is a terrific choice for a quick meal...or just a coffee (they do java well). They serve up topnotch salads and pies, tasty soups, and divine sweet treats. Replete also has a kitchen store next door.
