"What an amazing experience! If you’re looking for a high quality Japanese cuisine experience with very reasonable prices and good portions, in the heart of Oslo sentrum, this is absolutely the place!
We had two starters, two mains and two drinks for something around 1000kr!
Both the quality and the quantity of the foods were really great, the interior is very nice and cozy and the staff are super nice and efficient.
We will definitely come back to try other foods on the menu :)"

"Beautiful restaurant with great decorations everywhere, the mood is very chill and the waiter was fantastic. For the food we all took the 5 courses Japanese diner, it was amazing, the fish melts in your mouth and the ramen was very good, the broth was tasty and the pork very tender and juicy, ended off with a matcha ice cream that was very refreshing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Japanese cuisine in Oslo"

There’s even a trick to finding good old Becco, despite its location in a more touristy part of town: follow the lights embedded in the pavement, a sort of yellow-lit road.

Although I've never been to Japan, the credibility emanating from this tiny basement eatery is impressive. The dark wooden ceiling, decorations, and an overall curated shabbiness immediately transport you to another realm. The youthful servers exude friendliness, suggesting they're all part of an indie band in their spare time, evident from the uniquely dressed twentysomethings with challenging tattoos and canvas bags populating the bar stools.

At Izakaya you can order a beer from Japan’s oldest brewery Sapporo, or a cocktail made from Japanese liquor (scochu, sake, Japanese whisky and umeshu).
