"What a great restaurant! We wanted to have a quality/gastronomic dinner of Norwegian cuisine and were not disappointed. We had herring and Arctic char as a starter (bit heavy on the sour cream on the Arctic char to our taste, but this may just be how this dish is prepared, and the fish was delicious), and for the main, reindeer and lutefish (traditional Christmas meal). Both absolutely delicious. I think this is as good as it gets if you want to try local meals. It isn't cheap, but really worth it if you can.
The atmosphere is really lovely, with gorgeous decoration, relaxing music and low lights. Also very clean.
The service was outstanding. Our waitress Julie was incredibly friendly, didn't rush us in the slightest, took the time to chat and give tips on things to do locally (even went to ask a colleague to check on bus routes). We would come back and highly recommend it if you want a nice table for Norwegian cuisine."

"Lovely Belgian couple managing this beautiful restaurant in Tromso! We had the best time and the food was delicious. Around the table we had the beef burger, the grilled halibut and the mussels and we can 100% recommend all of them. Living in Brussels ourselves, the fries and the mussels even exceeded our expectations. Definitely book to make sure to have a spot. 😋"

"Best to make a reservation as when we tried walking in for dinner on a weekday, the restaurant was full. Went for both lunch and dinner. If you’re after their reindeer burger that item is only available during lunch. Check their website for the full menu. One of the better restaurant in Tromso."
