While the waitress demonstrated commendable transparency regarding the daily sourcing of Caribbean tuna, Rau Fusion’s overall execution fails to align with its "Fusion" concept. Neither the culinary offerings, ambiance, nor beverage program reflects the innovation implied by the name.
Order Experience:
1. Tuna Sashimi & Miso Soup: The tuna (noted as fresh) was palatable, but the Miso Soup was disappointingly basic—comparable to standard café fare, lacking the complexity expected of fusion cuisine.
2. Tuna-Salmon Roll: Poorly executed. Overwhelming rice, minimal fish, and an incongruous banana garnish disrupted flavor balance. At $9 for four small pieces, the portion-to-value ratio was unacceptable despite adequate taste.
3. Pina Colada: Served in an impractical wine glass with an excessively long straw. The cocktail lacked discernible alcohol content, diminishing the experience.

- Concept Incoherence: No discernible "fusion" elements in dishes or atmosphere.
- Pricing vs. Quality: Significant mismatch; portions were inadequate for cost, and flavors were unbalanced.
